Fishing during the last two weeks(August)

Bill Evans from La Paz and his good friend Eliseo from the pueblo Aqua Amarga, spent the day fishing with Captain Rigo at the south end of Cerralvo.    Loaded with mackerel, they found the jurel and came home with 3 jurel, 6 bonita dentone and 1 cabrilla.   Another great day on the water.Also Pete Teichmann show the Pargos were cought.

Our friends The five fantastics Joshep,Vince,Ed,Bob and Paul show the fish they cought during their fishing days.

Gary Evans from Santa Ana, Ca. came down to fish with his brother Bill, who lives here in La Paz.   They both went out fishing with our captain Rigo and Gary shows off his outstanding limit of Cabrilla.Danny Young and Tad Laferriere also came dawn and fished and cought wahoo,yellowtail cabrilla and sierra.

Bill Evans of La Paz...

Bill Evans of La Paz spent another day fishing with his favorite captain, Rigo.   The wind finally quit long enough for them to plan a trip out to the island.   As you can see the trip paid off, with 2 nice amberjack, 2 great cabrilla, a nice pargo mullato and a dogtooth pargo.   Bill stopped by the "Women helping Women"shelter in La Paz on his way home and donate his fish.

Last week, during one of the calm days, Brian Kingwill  spent the day fishing with Captain Rigo.   Brian has been fishing his entire life and for the past 35 years, has been trying to catch a sailfish.   Well, Captain Rigo made it happen with a nice 60 kilos fish.   Check out the expression on Brian's face.  Unfortunately, the hook was in the gills and because of the damage, the fish could not be released.
