This week we had good catches of a mixture of fish.

Fishing report for the week of April 24-May 1. This week we had good catches of a mixture of fish. Snapper were caught at Cerralvo Island using sardinas and cocineros with a lot of hook ups and some catches of the strong dog tooth snapper. The yellowtail and cabrilla are still hanging out at Punta Perico and more dorado are showing up with the increasingly warm water. Weather temps are in the 90's and are warming up the waters bringing more and more fish. At Boca del Alamo good size rooster from 30-50lbs were caught. Pictured is fisherman TOM CCHAPMAN from San Ramon, Ca. Tom fished several days with Captain Rigo and is showing what he caught, plenty of fish filets to take home. Sunday was not a good day to fish, the wind blew turning the water green and made it difficult to chum for pargo and yellowtail. The positive side to the wind is it brings the warm water and fish from the South up towards La Paz making the fishing even better for the days to come.
